Author | Required information in Kameleon documents. According to the author's company, the document will include a logo, units and their address information. |
Business owner | Users belonging to the business-owner group can see the statistics, but cannot make any updates in the portal |

Content admin | Users belonging to the content-admins group can edit content and create new content. Kameleon Content Tool can be deployed to Content-admins |
Content control | Data placeholders that can only be used in Word. They can be tied to metadata or can provide instructional text for users, and you can set controls to disappear when users type in their own text |
Content tool | A tool for administrators. Available in Office programs Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Includes maintenance features. |
Data sources | Data sources are used to provide data from external sources to meta groups and -fields |

Layout template | Layout Template that can be used in several different documents. Using a layout template, documents have a consistent color scheme, fonts, and page settings, etc. Helps save time and streamline document management |
Logo | A logo is an image file that can be assigned a location and size in a document. Logos are defined for companies and can be assigned different language versions. |
Metadata | Metadata is information about data. In Office documents, it usually means document summary information, custom properties, and custom XML parts. These allow data to be integrated into different systems, such as SharePoint. |
Metagroup | A group to which metafields can be assigned. Metagroups can be assigned to document categories as default values ββor directly to documents. Groups help reuse defined data |

Phrase | A phrase is a single word document that can be a few words or many pages long. It can contain text, images, tables, etc. Can only be used in the Word application |
Placeholder | Placeholders are in the body of the document or in the header and footer. Placeholders can be added using the Kameleon content tool. Placeholders can display metadata, terms, phrases, etc. |

Release note | A description of the changes that are made whenever a new version of Kameleon is released. Found on the Kameleon support website homepage |
Role | The role is assigned to user groups. Currently available are admin, content-admin, business-owner and signee. |
Slide sets | PowerPoint presentations whose individual slides can be used in other presentations. The files are uploaded to the Slides page in the Kameleon portal, through which they become visible to end users in the PowerPoint application |
