All data in transit is SSL (TLS 1.2) encrypted.

Create document

Create document is used to create Office-document from template in Office and Teams.

  • Author and document fields are sent to Kameleon API for document generation

  • Generated Office-document is returned to end-user

Kameleon API does not store any data provided by the end-user or document generated during the process

Edit document information

Document fields can be updated in Office. SharePoint is used to retrieve field values from SharePoint.

Publish document

Publish document is used to save active Office document to SharePoint or Teams. Publish operation also updates SharePoint metadata.

Sign document

Sign document is used to digitally sign Office-document. Any data provided by end-user or generated document is not stored by Kameleon.

  • Active Office-document, author and document fields are sent to Kameleon API for digital signature

Convert document

Convert document is used to transform Office-document.

  • Active Office-document, author and document fields are sent to Kameleon API for document conversion

  • Generated Office-document is returned to end-user
